STARLIGHT FILM FESTIVAL AND AWARDS

STARLIGHT is a quarterly international short film festival founded in Hyderabad, India. It is a live screening short film awards event with selections and quarterly winners. At the beginning of each year we organize an annual film festival with live screenings at an event in the dynamic and cultural hub of Hyderabad, where eminent dignitaries of the Indian film industry will be in attendance. There will be total of 4 competitions in a year. Awards given out quarterly are given in the list below. STARLIGHT’s quarterly winners are eligible for nominations at the above mentioned annual festival where we will be selecting BEST OF THE FEST films. All submissions are made exclusively via FilmFreeway.

Our goal is to promote and appreciate all that goes into making films that are artistically amazing, heart warming, thought provoking and entertaining. Independent spirit is a free one and each of these little expressions have the ability to move any one and connect at an emotional level in a short amount of time. We want to encourage that very spirit and want to see it transcend us.

Only short films with a duration of up to 30 minutes are accepted. All films must have been made in or after 2016 and be in English or have English subtitles (a must).
